The owners of this large country garden in North Somerset have found a relatively easy and dramatic solution to maintaining a small part of it. Her professional life is involved with public art and in particular three-dimensional designs, hence the clipped box balls.  He as an architect enjoys straight lines, hence the immaculate paths. I was told that the mower is set to high for an over all cut then it is down to the closest setting for the wide immaculate paths.  From Spring through to Autumn the entire area may need a cut every two weeks but if pushed for time they say simply cutting the paths makes order out of chaos.
